Services for Survivors of Other Trauma

The Joseph J. Peters Institute provides services and treatment to individuals who suffer the effects of traumatic grief, exposure to community violence, victims of assault, gun violence, disasters, and other forms of trauma laden experiences.

We treat the effects of trauma to help individuals move from trauma to resiliency, to heal and to live better lives. Participants may receive Group Therapy Group Therapy
Targeted group therapy services for:
Male survivors
Female survivors
LGBTQ survivors
Transgendered survivors
Youth with sexual behavioral problems
Adults with sexual behavioral problems
Adult offenders
Batterers of intimate partner violence
, Individual Therapy Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is used at the Institute to support individuals in recovery as they pursue specific goals.  
and Family Therapy Family Therapy
Family therapy is an integral part of our child adolescent services. Family therapy is also used with adults as appropriate
