Sexual Abuse and Human Trafficking
The Joseph J. Peters Institute focuses on helping individuals and families heal. The Institute provides the region’s leading trauma services and therapeutic care to children, adolescent and adult survivors of sexual violence. Treatment is provided at our Survivor Service location, 100 St. Broad Street, 17th floor in Philadelphia.
The Institute offers comprehensive evaluations and treatment for all survivors of domestic violence (DV)/interpersonal violence (IPV), including individual therapy, group counseling and psychiatric care.
Safety planning is at the core of DV, IPV and human trafficking treatment.
The Joseph J. Peters Institute provides services and treatment to individuals who suffer the effects of traumatic grief, exposure to community violence, victims of assault, gun violence, disasters and other forms of trauma laden experiences.
