Forensic Evaluation Program

The Forensic Evaluation Program at the Joseph J. Peters Institute offers a range of assessment and treatment referral services to address the needs of individuals with sexual behavioral problems including sexual offenses and sexual victimization.

The Institute provides services for a variety of issues in criminal or civil settings, including individuals with accusations, charges, or convictions for sexual offenses; professional sexual misconduct ranging from physicians to clergy; and assessment of sexual abuse allegations in custody related, parenting, and family court, or DHS referred cases.

Forensic evaluation services are available for male and female children, adolescents and adults. Specialized treatment options include services for children and families and services for adults .

Our staff is experienced in addressing the needs of a variety of referral sources including individuals, attorneys, Federal, State, and local criminal justice and social service agencies, as well as other large organizations at private or public sectors.
